Black Butterfly Temple
What if there was a place...
...where the table was already set?
Black Butterfly Temple is a community built around real things - food, land, healing, and showing up for each other. No performance required. Just people doing the work together.
There's a seat here for you.
Welcome to the table.
Who We Are
Black Butterfly Temple is a 501c3 nonprofit sanctuary rooted in southwest Iowa. We exist at the intersection of healing, land stewardship, and community resilience - building something real for people who are ready to stop carrying change alone.

The Dream
Eleven acres in southwest Iowa. Three tiers of land. A pond. A fire circle. Hobbit style structures built into the earth. Morning Yoga or Tai-Chi. Sound Baths. Reiki. Community gatherings.
This is not a concept. It's a campus under construction - a regenerative sanctuary where community gathers, healing happens, and people learn to nourish themselves - body, mind, and table.
We're building it from the ground up. You can be part of that.

Mission Statement
Black Butterfly Temple exists to feed you what you've been starving for — truth, connection, and the knowledge of who you actually are. We combine healing arts, earth-based education, and community to help you find your higher self and live like you mean it.
Vision Statement
Black Butterfly Temple exists to build something that lasts — a living sanctuary where people find their footing, feed themselves and each other, and remember who they are. We are growing a community rooted in land, healing, and belonging.
